The Aqua Coolkeeper cooling mat provides your pet with a safe and responsible way to cool down in hot weather! An optimal protection against overheating suitable for dogs, cats, ferrets or rabbits.
Dogs can only regulate their body temperature by panting or sweating through the balls of their paws. However, this way the body temperature of the animal can only be cooled down insufficiently. Therefore, dogs are at increased risk of heat stroke, and heat stroke can lead to permanent organ damage, unconsciousness and in severe cases even death.

Notes
Each Aqua Coolkeeper has its own maximum soaking time and maximum amount of water that can be soaked. This limit must not be exceeded, as there is a risk that the HydroQuartz crystals will get out through the seams. The information about this can be found on the inside of the label attached to the product. The Aqua Coolkeeper cooling mat has a maximum immersion time of 45 minutes.
After immersion in water and possible drying, the product does not feel ice-cold. Nevertheless, the cooling effect will be sufficient to remove the excess heat from the animal. The cooling mat does not visibly change its size because the cold is stored inside.
If necessary, Coolkeeper can be additionally cooled in the refrigerator - but never in the freezer or freezer! Never use an Aqua Coolkeeper that just comes out of the refrigerator. Animals cannot indicate whether they find the cooling effect pleasant and will not remove the product on their own if it is too cold!
